I asked : 1. to be removed from their calling list - not possible since they weren't "selling" anything 2. for the name of company - Electric Power Association. 3. for company phone number - Said he was using a dialing system. 4. for company website- again didn't have one 5. if it was a government agency - no they are subcontracted but received funds from the power companies 6. threatened to report him/call the police - no answer on that one Ended up letting him talk on speakerphone for a while. I lectured my kids to continue doing their homework so they could go to college and wouldn't end up like this guy, harassing people. Then I let the kids talk to him. I think he ended up hanging up on my kids.

This number has popped up on caller ID 2-3 times a day for over a week. They don't leave a message when the answering machine picks up. My husband answered the call yesterday and they told him our number was given to them by his Mom. They sell environmental cleaners. Called his Mom and she said it's vacuum cleaner and air filter system. She had them do their demo and after 2hours of saying no, she gave the rep our number to get him out of her house.

A woman's voice said "I am from your credit card company". She did not mention the name of the company. She said I could take advantage of a limited time offer for me to lower my interest rate and wanted me to press "1". Dialing the number back got the same recorded voice saying she is from Card Member Service and she will be helping me with my account. I do not have any credit card debt, so lowering interest is not an option that would apply to me.

called me AGAIN, asking for Lester. hung up after I asked to be removed from their list.

Answers with repeating my phone #, then asks if "this is the # you want removed" - option 1... I selected 1 and system responded "number has been removed". or option 2... "enter a number". I entered 0 and received the same response "number has been removed". Have not reached a person with either option, with just pressing 0, or with waiting for someone to answer. I am on donotcall registry and will file a complaint w/ FCC even though this was the first call.
